This card is for my hubby its his birthday today....Happy Birthday Mr Ellephantastic!!!

I used one of my first ever DP images & coloured him with pro markers on neenah card. Then I cut him out, slightly embossed him & 3d foam padded him to my card.

Using the principle I made these 2 cards for my brother & brother in law's birthdays tomorrow!!

DP monster digi - I'm loving my shading on this one I think I have finally found my fav' browns & got use to using my blender pen

DP's pirate dragon. Simple but effective. Loving these new style of cards especially for men.

Happy New Year!!

Before Christmas I was inspired.....what me?! Yes..me!! I managed to find a little mojo after spending some time looking for ways to pimp my Puma (for Puma story click HERE)

Erica from Odds & Soxlets posted this little cuite digi image for the O&S DT to use & POW instant inspiration!!!!

I used A4 ice blue pearl card to make the box & lid. Then decorated it with Up & Away papers (which are currently in my HALF PRICE SALE on Facebook!!!)

The super sweet digi is FREE....yep FREE on Erica's Odds & Soxlets site....so if you feel inspired too get on over to O&S save your new digi & then pop on over to my Facebook page for bargain papers!!!

Oh & the alphabet round the box lid goes from A-Z .....pure fluke!! The box is 15x15x15cm if you want to recreate this. Any questions just email me or leave a comment.

Ellephantastic's last challenge - November - Weather Related

As you may have noticed I am taking some time out. My health has not been great & the ME is being difficult so a break is the best thing. I'll not be gone forever but for the time being this will be our last Ellephantastic Challenge

Jill is hosting & she has chosen 'Weather Related Theme'

I have used my Emily Autumn image along with my Autumn Leaves collection.

I have also used Big Tree & Crooked picket fence by Make it Crafty.

I have coloured with promarkers & used a SU sentiment stamp.

I feel sad but relief now the challenges are finishing as it takes a lot of my time & energy.

I would like to thank my FANTASTIC design team for all their hardwork this year & their support, friendship & kindness.

I would also like to thank everyone who has taken part in our challenges & all the companies who have sponsored us this year.

November is going to be the final challenge for Ellephantastic for a while as we are all having a much needed break (especially me!!) we'll be gone for a few months not sure exactly how long & hope to be back sometime in 2012.

I am also going to be taking a break from crafting, drawing & other bits & pieces for a while too. My shop will stay open & you can still purchase digis but there will be no new freebies or special offers for a little while.

Ellephantastic September challenge {Here come the girl's}

Hello! This month over at Ellephantastic Challenges Nikki is hosting & has chosen {Here come the Girls} as her theme.

I have used one of my new images Belle.

I printed her out with light lines to try the new craze in the craft world 'no lines'

I have coloured her with promarkers & then done some extra shading with pencils too.

One of my DT girls Jill had already made a door hanger as her DT project which inspired me to make this one. I have even made it for myself...shock horror (I never make things for myself!)

Playing with inks, sunsets & clouds!

Make it Colourful challenge this week is 'Sunset with clouds'

I've been playing with my Stampin Up spot ink pads, sponges & toy stuffing!!

I used a cut out stencil for the clouds & sponged the inks round layering the colours.

Then I used my fineliner pen from letraset to draw some mushrooms, leaves etc along the bottom.

I also had a go with my promarkers on letraset bleed proof pad.

Unfortunately I've not had chance to make a card with a sunset but I have enjoyed playing this week so thanks MIC for the great challenge & inspiration.

Beauty & The Beast

Hi there! I thought I would finally get around to blogging my Beauty & The Beast drawings.

I designed & coloured these for a competition with Waterstones called Picture This unfortunately I didn't get past the first round :-(

I am however very pleased with my drawings & my colouring. It took me hours & hours to get to this stage. All the characters started off looking very different to this!

I am having some time out from crafting at the moment so I apologise for being a little antisocial!!

A4 place/play mat & coaster

For my guest DT projects for Erica Martyn's Odds & Soxlets I decided to make an A4 place/play mat as they remind me of when I was young. My youger brother & sister & I all had a place/play mat which we used for our tea time & to play on ...in particular with play dough I remember!!

I then decided to make a coaster to go with it using Toots.....I love Toots!!!

I have used one of my Free digi images Baby Roger. I coloured him with promarkers & layered up using my nesties. I'm not all that happy with the card as its not my usual standard because Mr Mojo has gone on his jollies!! It does however look better in real life than in this pic!
